Drawing from a creative group of individuals, founder Ashley Teplin brings together a specific team of consultants that meets the needs of each unique client. Talented and motivated and collaborators, we collectively offer decades of experience, hundreds of contacts and insatiable appetites.

Founder + Creative Director
With unlimited connections in the culinary and wine world, for the past two decades, Ashley Nicole Teplin has used her extraordinary skill set to gain exposure and create virtual and real-world publicity for her diverse client set. In 2018, Ashley was awarded the Top 40 under 40 honors for Wine Enthusiast for her work with Teplin+Nuss and ability to ‘Spread the wine word’. Ashley is Immersed in the worlds of art, culture, wine, and cuisine, she wields her expertise in public relations, media production, photography, social media advisement, culinary and fine arts to forge new networks and strengthen existing relationships among her clients. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, as well as a culinary arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.

Communications Director
Aimee Sands gets enthused about wine, food, farmers and the great outdoors. She has spent the past two decades leveraging brand equity to create meaningful interactions with consumers, press and stakeholders, and her expertise includes marketing, public relations, social media, copywriting, crisis communications and corporate responsibility. She’s spent her career working for companies that inspire passion, from Dr. Marten’s to Target to Annie’s Homegrown, and joined Studio 707 after nearly seven years with Jackson Family Wines. There she led public relations for some of the most widely-distributed wineries, as well as contributing to corporate and executive communications. She graduated cum laude with a degree in Communications from Lewis & Clark College.

Lela Adelman understands the power of authenticity and organic engagement when it comes to communicating the voice of a brand. With nearly 20 years of experience developing private label in the wine and gourmet food sector, she brings curiosity and creativity to the team. Lela’s strong technical skills and solid pulse on the latest trends ensures each client strategic and measurable results. Having traveled extensively nationwide and abroad, Lela’s real - life experiences give her a unique perspective that allows her to think outside of the box. She specializes in SEO, Quantitive Business Marketing, Influencer Marketing, and Multi - Channel Outreach.

Culinary Publicist + Broadcast Director
Laiko is passionate about creating food experiences and guiding food people and products to success. For nearly twenty years Laiko has been collaborating with culinary creators on effective and strategic storytelling though three channels: media, marketing and broadcast. Known for her editorial eye and deep industry relationships, Laiko has led standout campaigns for clients including Boonville Hotel, La Toque, The Matheson, Gold Ridge Organic Farm, Dandelion Chocolate, and Starter Bakery. She supported the U.S. premiere of The Art of Eating: The Life of M.F.K. Fisher and spearheaded the launch of Six California Kitchens by Sally Schmitt. Her past collaboration with Kristin Keefer included the openings of three-star, SingleThread Farm and two-star The Harbor House Inn. Laiko lives in San Francisco’s Fillmore District.

Shelly is a website designer and entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in the retail and
marketing fields. Throughout her career, she has had the unique experience of working closely with
visionaries and entrepreneurs, such as Francis Ford Coppola. At the Coppola Companies, Shelly
oversaw the merchandising, wine club and ecommerce departments, working closely with the Coppola family.In 2005, she founded Bellingham Baby Company, a brick and mortar and online baby gift store. Shelly's passion for design led her to
start Allen and Co. Creative in 2013, where she puts her creative skills to work in the areas of website design, branding, marketing and social media. Her sites have been featured as design inspiration within the web design community.

Jeff Dorenbush is a seasoned web developer and creative marketing strategist with over 17 years of experience blending technical innovation with dynamic brand storytelling. With deep expertise in front-end and back-end development—including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL, and WordPress—Jeff brings a rare combination of coding proficiency and marketing insight to every project he leads.
He is the former CEO and Principal Web Developer of Mutineer Magazine, where he helped grow the brand into a nationally distributed publication, overseeing all digital assets and business operations. During his decade-long tenure with Mutant Marketing & Productions, he played a key role in client strategy, media production, and event execution. Jeff has also contributed to the spirits industry through his work at Anchor Distilling Co., developing custom database solutions and managing web infrastructure.
Whether engineering complex web platforms or crafting compelling digital campaigns, Jeff is driven by a passion for creative problem-solving, user-centered design, and measurable results. His background in media, game design, and database engineering makes him a valuable asset across industries seeking to elevate their digital presence.
Vision
Studio 707 is the culmination of more than a decade’s work, bringing to life a vision to revitalize the iconic communications firm founded by Ashley Teplin’s mentor, legendary Napa Valley PR professional Pamela Hunter. Her groundbreaking work promoting food and wine combined writing, journalism, teaching, and advocacy. She passed in 2010, just as digital and social media began to transform the way information is shared, a new opportunity she would’ve embraced. Today’s Studio 707 takes a multi-disciplinary approach, and Pamela’s pioneering spirit lives on.
